When I was a young boy, I used to dream of meeting a great Siberian Tiger. Back then there were only an estimated 320 remaining in the wild. A heartbreakingly low figure. Thanks to the creation of several national parks and extensive conservation work this figure has now risen significantly. The most detailed ever study of Siberian Tiger populations recently revealed only 562 individuals remaining across Far Eastern Russia. For this reason I am limiting this piece to an edition of only 562.
